WENGER LAUDS RAMSEY

Arsene Wenger has lauded Aaron Ramsey for his impressive show in Arsenal’s previous Premier League game against Cardiff City.

Ramsey found the net a couple of times in that game against Cardiff and helped Arsenal win by 3-0. With that win, the Gunners went 7 points ahead of Liverpool which is the second positioned team in the Premier League points table.
Ramsey had made his way to the Emirates Stadium in 2008. He was rated very highly when he arrived, but, he couldn’t deliver that much. The fans lost the faith in him and they even booed him in some of the games last year. But, in the ongoing season, the Welshman is looking a completely different player. He has already had 13 in his goals’ tally and we are still in the first half of the season.

Hailing Ramsey in the press conference after the game against Cardiff City, Wenger said, “Aaron’s performance was remarkable today. His form this season has really been surprising for me. He has improved a lot both as a player and as an individual.”

“He is a guy who is still progressing and he is capable of putting up even better performances than this. He is definitely going to have a bright future.”

When Arsenal had bought Ramsey in 2008, they only had to pay 6 million Euros as transfer fee, but, now, if they decide to sell the Welsh midfielder, they would get lot more than that.

However, when asked about that, Wenger made it clear that he doesn’t want to put any of his players on sale in near future.

The Arsenal boss said, “Keeping the group together is important for us at this point of time. So, we are not planning to sell anybody in near future.”
