Tottenham Hotspur are plotting to bring Aaron Ramsey back to English football after a few years according to the latest reports in the Italian media. It was revealed that Spurs are even ready to offer one of their players in a bid to sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer. Aaron Ramsey spent over a decade with Premier League giants Arsenal before he made the decision to leave the North London outfit at the end of his contract.

Aaron Ramsey left Arsenal as a free agent in the summer of 2019 and he went on to sign a lucrative free transfer deal at Italian football giants Juventus. Welsh international Ramsey had a well documented injury history at Arsenal and the situation has continued into his career as a Juventus player. Juventus appointed club legend Andrea Pirlo as their new manager last summer and he likes Aaron Ramsey as a player but he's unable to count on him due to his fitness issues.

Italian newspaper Calciomercatorecently revealed via one of its publications that Aaron Ramsey is attracting the interest of Tottenham Hotspur and that the Premier League outfit might need to spend as much as €20m to sign him. Juventus signed Ramsey for free almost two years ago and €20m would be a significant return on the player. Tottenham Hotspur might not be able to raise the funds for him and a swap deal involving one of their players was mentioned by the aforementioned publication. Argentine international winger Erik Lamela was named as the player that Spurs could offer to Juventus in exchange for Aaron Ramsey. Just like Aaron Ramsey at Juventus, Erik Lamela has not been able to stay fit for a full season at Spurs. He has shown flashes of brilliance during his time at Tottenham Hotspur to suggest that he could offer more if he stays fit.
