RAMSEY IS HOPEFUL

The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is pretty hopeful about the chances of his team in the upcoming couple of Champions League fixtures against the last season’s finalists Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal is currently at the top of the Group F points table. They have won both the games that they have played so far. First, they secured a 2-1 win in an away game against Marseille and then, they beat Napoli by 2-0 at home last Tuesday.

Now, the Gunners have to face Dortmund twice. The first one will be a home game for them and it will take place on 22nd of October, while, the second one will be played at Signal-Iduna-Park on November 6.

Talking to the reporters at the end of the game against Napoli, Ramsey said, “It’s great to have secured 6 points from the first two games. Our start was fantastic today. We managed to put a bit of pressure on Napoli with a couple of goals in the first 45 minutes.”

“After that Aston Villa defeat, we have played some quality football and I hope that we continue doing that. It’s fantastic to get off to a good start in a tournament like Champions League.”

“Now, we have to play a couple of huge matches against Dortmund which is a very strong unit. They were the finalists last season, but, we are also high on confidence at the moment and we have a good chance of getting desired outcomes in those two games.”

When asked about Mesut Ozil who is proving to be a great signing for Arsenal, Ramsey said, “He has done really well for us. It was nice to see him scoring today. The entire squad is glad for him. I hope he finds net on many more occasions for Arsenal.”
