RAMSEY HAILS RONALDO AFTER TEAMMATE REACHES NEW MILESTONE

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has hailed his teammate at club level Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese superstar reached yet another milestone in his already tremendous career as a professional footballer. The Juventus forward netted a hat-trick against fellow Serie A team Cagliari to take his total official goals to 770, surpassing Brazilian football legend Pele's total goals scored.

There was so much talk and criticism about Ronaldo after he was unable to help Juve avoid being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Portuguese outfit Porto last week, and he responded brilliantly with a beautiful treble of goals to make it two hat-tricks since joining the Old Lady.

The hat-trick was a perfect one for the Portugal international forward who scored with his right foot, his left foot, and with a header. It was also his 57th career hat-trick and his teammate, Ramsey, has joined the party of people who have poured out congratulations to the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man.

Speaking to the Juventus official website, Ramsey said he has always felt that Juventus signing Ronaldo was a massive step forward and that regardless of the criticism that surrounds the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, he always does his best to put in great performances on the pitch. Ramsey also said that Ronaldo is a very cool-headed guy, regardless of what a lot of people think, and added that he will always cherish the fact that he shared a pitch with one of football's greatest ever legends.

Ronaldo took to Instagram after his latest feat where he admitted that he was glad to have broken Pele's record, adding that it was an honor to finally reach and eclipse the total goals tally of a legend whose tales he heard of as a kid.
