Arsenal Reportedly Interested In Re-signing Ramsey

According to some reports, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is interested in bringing back Aaron Ramsey to the club in the summer. Ramsey, who now plays for Turin club Juventus in Italy, was an Arsenal player for a little over a decade and enjoyed a fair share of success during his time at the club under former manager Arsene Wenger. He was signed by the former French boss from Cardiff City for a fee reported to be in the region of £5 million.

Since signing from Cardiff for Arsenal, the midfielder was an important fixture in the Gunners first-team as he would go on to register 370 appearances for the north London club. During that period, he contributed to a total of 130 goals - scoring 65 goals and registering the same number of assists (65) before he thought it best to swap the English Premier League for the Italian Serie A by signing for Juventus on a free transfer.

The Wales international midfielder decided against renewing his contract at Arsenal and saw out his contract in London before moving to Juventus in the summer transfer window of July 2019. He put pen to paper on a fresh four-year contract upon his switch to the Old Lady.

Since signing for Andrea Pirlo's side, Ramsey has registered 54 appearances and is a scorer of 5 goals for the Serie A outfit. In this current campaign, Ramsey has been involved in 9 league starts and the 30-year-old has been involved in three goals during that period - two goals and an assist.

There are rumors making the rounds in the Italian media that the midfielder is not very happy in Turin and may be seeking a move elsewhere, hence, the Arsenal links. TuttoJuve is the media outlet piling up the reports of Arteta's interest in Ramsey even though the player has previously stated that he is happy to be at Juventus.
