Arsene Wenger Expects Aaron Ramsey to Be Available for Everton

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is not an injury going into the final game of the season against Everton.

This represents a tough match for the gunners, as they have to win the game while also keeping track of the other results going on in the Premier league. The club will be able to finish in the top four only if Liverpool fail to get a win against Middlesbrough. Wenger remains confident of qualifying for the Champions League, after having done so for the last two decades. Missing out on the Premier European competition is a real possibility owing to a poor run of form at the start of 2017.

Wenger remains confident of qualifying for the Champions League, after having done so for the last two decades. Missing out on the Premier European competition is a real possibility owing to a poor run of form at the start of 2017.

Aaron Ramsey may not have the same goal scoring form that he had a few years ago, but he remains a vital player for the club. The midfielder has not scored in 22 appearances in the Premier league this season, although only to have been from the start.

He has made four assists in these matches. Ramsey appeared to suffer a leg injury in the 2-0 win over Sunderland. The victory was extremely crucial for the club as it kept them in the race for the top four places. If Ramsey is unavailable for the game against Everton, Arsene Wenger will hope that the midfielder is available for the FA Cup final against Chelsea.

“Ramsey is alright,” said Wenger about the injury to Ramsey.”We had plenty of shots on goal but we needed to be patient. We were frustrated at half-time not to be leading. We made 71 points and were second. We now have 72 and want to go to 75. After that you deal with what happens. We’ve got in on the final day many times. Sunderland fought and you want that in the Premier League – that’s what you want from every team,” said Wenger after the match.

Aaron Ramsey Arsenal Win against City in the FA Cup Semi-final

Arsenal are set to face a huge test of their campaign when they take on Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey has urged the gunners to silence the critics by managing a win against Pep Guardiola’s team. It is easier said than done, as City come on the back of a good run of form in the last few weeks. The club certainly struggled to adapt to Pep Guardiola’s tactics early on in the campaign, but it seems that the Spaniard has been able to convey the information much better in recent months.

City have managed to win the last two games in the Premier League to put themselves on the verge of a top four finish. Arsenal, meanwhile, are a huge seven points behind City with only six games left in the campaign. As it stands, the club stands to finish outside the top four for the first time in more than two decades.

The club has been able to enjoy an extended run of form in this competition even when they have not been able to sign the best players. After having faced an intense round of criticism due to the club’s poor form, Arsenal have managed to win to the last three games. Ramsey says that a win over City will go a long way into silencing the critics.

“This is massive for us. It’s going to be important for us to finish the season strongly and hopefully have a final to look forward to. It has been a quite difficult season. There are a lot of things being said at the moment but we have to stand up for ourselves and get back on track as quickly as possible. There’s still a lot at stake and it’s important now to put ourselves right. City have got a world-class manager [Pep Guardiola], who has proven how good he is and they have a lot of exceptional players who can produce something out of nothing,” said Ramsey.
