Ramsey to Continue Even as Gale Retires

Aaron Ramsey has been a contemporary of Gareth Bale as both players have 300 and more appearances to their credit. Recently Gareth announced his retirement from the game and Aaron sent his heartfelt congratulatory message to him. Aaron Ramsey is a former loanee of the Rangers. He and Gareth have played key roles in the national team for many years.

Gareth is a five times winner in the Champions League as well as an acclaimed Wales hero. He decided to call time on his celebrated career on 23rd January 2023. He has played football for over two decades. Ramsey has had a similar career path. Both the star players have been part of the team of Rob Page. This team had led Wales to their first victory in the World Cup.

The time that Ramsey spent in Glasgow when playing for the Rangers had been full of fitness and injury issues. For such reasons he even missed out on a crucial penalty kick. Being a former midfielder with the Arsenals he was given the responsibility of making starts, especially under Gio Van Bronckhorst.
Ramsey, now 32 years of age, is currently experiencing an upturn in his career. It was with Nice, a new club that he joined after his contract ended with Juventus. Ramsey hails Bale as a special player and has even made suggestions to him for his next role. When Gale announced his retirement Ramsey stated that he has had a great career. Also, it had been an unbelievable experience playing by his side. They had many special moments when they wore the Welsh shirt and played together for Wales.
Now that Bale has thrown down his cap, Ramsey is being prepped to face the European Championship qualifiers. He is a senior player and the team manager is keen that Aaron continues, even if Gale has announced his retirement.
